CDV of three women playing cricket while dressed in white blouses, long black skirts. Mounted on a pink mount, nd, no backmark. The first recorded cricket match between women was reported in The Reading Mercury on 26 July 1745; the match was contested "between eleven maids of Bramley and eleven maids of Hambledon, all dressed in white"
