Beautiful museum quality Abraham Lincoln Miniature Portrait measuring 2.75" wide x 3.5" tall (by sight), painted on a white natural material housed within its original black lacquered wooden period frame, measuring fully to 5" x 5.5". It depicts a bearded President Lincoln in a classic right-facing seated pose. This Hand-painted Watercolor is accomplished by a highly skilled artist, unknown, no date, exceptional in its detail and quality. The handsome portrait of President Abraham Lincoln shown in his black suit coat wearing a bowtie. A typeset printed page in English, apparently from an early bible, was used seal the back of the previously opened frame. A small gilt metal Heraldic American Eagle decoration is attached to the top center black lacquer painted frame with a brass loop for suspension attached at top. Some slight scuffing to the bottom frame corner. Overall a wonderful Lincoln miniature portrait with excellent eye appeal, ready for display. Fine condition.
