very fancy large letterhead (with dual language seal of the organization). Single page (8 x 10; blank reverse) neatly penned (in a small, readable hand) letter April 10, 1877 to Judge Mayer Sulzberger in Phila. from Solomon Levi, member of Board of Directors who writes: "…had personal interview with Dr. Wolfenstein [about] various changes he will have to propose." Advises he will describe them and then send on to Dr. W. for his approval or rejection and later forward them to Sulzberger. Also: "Dr. W. will inform you of the reasons for the changes…I assure you I was actuated by the sincerest motives." Light aging; Exc.
