Majority are Philadelphia concerns; about a dozen from New York, Baltimore, Trenton, Richmond, New Orleans, etc. Showing aging, but all exc. Includes business card of "Isaac Benselum, "Gov't Minister of Lunatic Asylum and Civil Prison for the Hebrew Community," its reverse with penned message in Hebrew language. Includes a quaint celluloid business card of "Roskam Gerstley & Co." of N.Y. and Phila. "Fine Whiskeys" with large Jewish star their trademark; "St. Louis, Mo; Pawnbroker J. Rashbam" reverse entirely penned with message in Hebrew and a very early card of "H. Hyman, Watchmaker, Jeweler Richmond, Va." with a note signed by him on reverse and dated Richmond 1838. Includes fancy card of famous H. Muhr Sons of N.Y./Phila. with fine illus. of their factory and a quaint miniature metallic device to be used as a watch fob in shape of a crown given away by Muhr at the Columbian Exposition, dated 1895 (and so marked). Fascinating group of displayable Judaica. Normal aging; all exc. The collection of 41 pieces.
