Series of 25 individually titled, numbered and dated lectures by that prominent Reform rabbi who had earlier led congregations in Peoria, Ill.; Kalamazoo, Mich. and Kansas City, Mo. Approx. 225 (plus) pages (5 ½ x 8 ½) with wide range of interesting, then-contemporary, subject matter of both direct and peripheral interest to American Jews. Original hard cloth covers. Exc.+ condition (Singerman No. S-347). ACCOMPANIED WITH: Original Oct. 1916 single page typed letter with very fine penned, full autograph signature of Krauskopf on the printed letterhead of "Rabbi Joseph Krauskopf" with full address of both his home and the synagogue. To the notable Lewis Edw. Levy of Phila. congratulating him on his 70th Birthday and advising: "But for the fact that my presence is required at the NATIONAL FARM SCHOOL"… that he would have attended Levy's celebration in person "… not withstanding that we represent different religious viewpoints… not permitting the differences to disturb our friendship." Exc+. Levy was a famous inventor, photochemist, or printer and editor, etc." Exc. Both items together.
