Includes an extraordinary piece wood of the battleship Maine, 4-1/4” x 1-1/2,” marked in pencil “A piece of Maine flag shaft(?) and on the verso in pencil “Maine.” Also various images of Spofford; studio shot tintype of Stofford with flag draped on chair, in the field cabinet photo, portrait cabinet photo, and a 9” x 6,” full regiment photo (creased). Also included is a, 14” x 9-1/2,” nicely accomplished penciled sketch of Stofford in camp.
