Hard to find milk crock bearing stamp "NB 1" on top of rim. Nelson Bass is a common stamp, however, not on milk crocks. Milk crocks were used heavily on farms therefore most did not survive and are scarce. This adds to the rarity of the piece. Heavy shiny olive glaze, and runs throughout the piece. 1" chip at rim, else VG.
