War-date Confederate Autograph Letter Signed, “A.N. Toutant Beauregard” 1p. quarto, Corinth, May 2, 1862, to General Ruggles, and reads “It is Ed. Chapman Esq. requests that his son’s horse should be sent to Capt. Deslonde, A.Q.M. of this place who will attend to him. I shall call this day or tomorrow to present my respects....If convenient please send the horse as early as possible to Capt. Deslonde’s quarters...” Docketed by Ruggles on verso. VG.
