Partly-printed Document Signed by the “Examining Surgeon of Enrolled Militia for Frederick County” 1p. octavo, November 4, 1862, Frederick City, Maryland, being a certificate of disability for exemption from military duty in the Maryland Militia, and reads “I HEREBY CERTIFY, That I have carefully examined Griffith Jones of New Market...who has been Enrolled as a member of the Militia of the State of Maryland, and find him Not Exempt from Militia Duty...” Fine.
