Fine content A.L.S. signed with initial "E", 2pp. 8vo., [South Orange, 1921], to Jaffrey Buchanan, manager of Edison's Record Division. In his typical bold pencil, Edison writes: "...From all that Wilcox has told me I believe we are up against a bug that has always troubled us & that is when we put steam onto presses we bring in a large quantity of condensed water from the long pipe. I think we should put in a large water separator [sic]...between boiler & engine to prevent flowing cylinder head out, I always used them except in two cases when I didn't have them & boiler primed...I think this has been our trouble all along...". Staple holes at top margin, clear of text. Evenly toned, very good condition.
