W.T. Sherman.” Washington, 1891-1894, by Julius Bien & Co. Withdrawn from the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies. Minor edge chips in margin. Bragg's defeat at Chattanooga eliminated the last Confederate control of Tennessee and opened the door to an invasion of the Deep South, leading to Sherman's Atlanta Campaign of 1864.
