Mounted Albumen Photograph, 2-1/2” 3-1/2,” to 5” x7” mount. There is no photographer identification, but this image is from a Brady sitting. In fact, according to the Library of Congress who own the Brady negatives, “The hat Sheridan is wearing here was given by Sheridan to Brady and was stolen from trunk in cellar at 494 Md. Ave Wash. D.C. by workmen.” Very minor emulsion background spots.
