Print, “Sherman’s March to the Sea,” 25"x35", of General Sherman's siege of Atlanta. In the foreground, Sherman is on horseback, using binoculars to site the defenses. His troops are busy cutting the telegraph line and dislodging the railroad tracks, while a black family crosses over to the Federal line. Billowing smoke and scorched skyline complete this scene. Drawn by F.O.C. Darley, and printed by H.H. Willes of Hartford, Connecticut, 1883. VG. Framed.
