A great partly-printed Children's Anti-Slavery Missionary Society certificate, unengrossed , ca. 1850, colorfully printed by Jocelyn, New York in blue and brown ink. Bordered with varied powerful scenes that are titled, on the left as "Slavery" including scenes of a runaway being attacked by bloodhounds and a mother being separated from her children while n the right "Freedom" scenes show white and black children co-existing together plus a white teacher at the head of a bi-racial classroom. Minor stains, else VG. The first we have encountered in the marketplace!
