General Orders, bound volume, 1864, for Jan. 2, 1864 through January 1, 1865, plus circulars from same period. End-of-Year Edition. There are +/- 300 general Orders including six signed-in-type by Lincoln on the Draft, Raising of Volunteers, Blockades, Quotas, Suspending Habeas Corpus in Kentucky, with others on slaves, chaplains, "Colored Persons", Prisoners of War, Deserters, Substitutes, etc. In addition, there are another +/- 80 Circulars. Fading on front cloth cover, endpapers toned, contents clean and satisfactory. VG.
