Pair of war-date partly-printed Documents Signed, both 4”x2-1/2”, 1777, one for John Chatfield and the other for Christerper Shermond, they read in part: “I voluntarily inlisted myself as a soldier in the Army of the United States of America, in the Battalion ordered to be raised in the State of Connecticut, to serve during the present War...” Fine condition.
