CHAMBERLAIN, Thomas D. (1841-1896) was the Lieutenant Colonel of the 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War, the brother of Union general Joshua L. Chamberlain, the Colonel of the 20th Maine Infantry. Partly-printed Document Signed by Thomas D. Chamberlain, 1pp. quarto, June 4, 1865, “In the field”, being a discharge for Washington Foss of the famous 20th Maine Infnatry. Very good condition.
