Rare Revolutionary War slave bill of sale, 1pp. oblong octavo, Schoharie, New York, March 8, 1779, and reads “Jacob Vanuranken and Isaac Vanuranke Dr. To Phil Shcuyler the sum of 200 for one able bodied Negro man named James and one able Negro woman named Silleve with girl child names Molly and one boy child named Daniel.” Fine condition. Philip Schuyler (1733-1804) was a general in the American Revolution and a United States Senator from New York.
