Carrington, Provost Marshal, 1pp. quarto, Richmond, Virginia, April 2, 1864, being a Special Order, and reads in part: “...In accordance with instructions from Genl. Bragg, notice is hereby given that officers and soldiers traveling on leave, furlough, or under orders, are not required to stop here for passports. Capt.
