War-date Confederate States of America Military Telegraph, being correspondence between General Gideon Pillow and General Beauregard, May 16, 1864, and reads in part: “...Capt Chisolms Company now at Mariana Fla is one of the Companies of my old Brigade & is by order of Secty of War to be organized in my command...Do tell me the condition of things with Gen. Lee’s Army & your own...” Fine condition.
