Group of three war-date Union telegraphs, includes: 1pp. octavo, Nashville, Tennessee, November 13, 1864, issued by General George Thomas, addressed to General Steedmen, it reads in part: “...Leave as large a force as you can at Dalton and in the blockhouses between that place and Chattanooga with orders not to withdraw unless threatened greatly superior to them in numbers.. It is of the greatest importance that we hold the country as far as Dalton if possible...” Fine condition...plus; Two others of lesser importance. Fine condition.
