Very unusual Silk Horse Sash, 56” top to bottom, made from two 4-1/2” pleated sashes which are joined at the 40” point. There are two black/white rosettes affixed to the sash. Slightly yellowed, tatered at the bottom, but rare. The piece came from a sizable Lincoln Collection assembled in the early 1900, Waterford Connecticut. It was broken up in 2002, many of the items were sold through the Railsplitter auction in 2003. Unfortunately no paperwork.
