His signature and inscription, "To Alva Bradley II by Bob Kennedy," accomplished on the front blank endpaper of his book, The Enemy Within, (New York: Harper & Row, 1960) 8vo., xiv, 338 pages. bound in green cloth boards with gilt-titled spine. First edition with original dust jacket. Some marginal tears to dust jacket, spine cracked but binding intact, end papers, pastedowns and page edges slightly foxed and toned, interior pages clean. A scarce signed edition of Kennedy's first book examining the McLellan Committee enquiry into union and management corruption with a focus on Jimmy Hoffa's links to organized crime.
