A grouping of 3 Buttons to include, Pinback, 3-1/2” with image of “Rev. Dr, Martin Luther King,” additional text "For Poor Power" and with the first few words of King's famous quotation "I Have A Dream..." Planning for the Poor Peoples campaign began in Nov., 1967. By the time of the event which began May 12, 1968, King had been assassinated although the leaders of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and others had decided to go ahead with the campaign in King's honor. Old tape residue, else VG. ... plus, Pinback 2” diameter, “Poor People’s Campaign 1968”, VG. ... plus, Memorial MLK Pinback, “Poor Peoples Campaign, Washington DC, NPCA-SCLC” with King image. Small stain, else VG.
