C., March 6, 1865, because, "he is suffering from gun shot wound [received at the battle of Dallas, Ga., 5/28/64] of the stomach-unhealed & unable to travel." Signed extending Roby's furlough for another thirty days by C. S. A. Surgeon J. W. Hall and Asst. Surgeon Julius C. Blakeney 61st North Carolina. Overall VG.
