War-date Union partly-printed Document Signed, "M. Yaraly" Capt. and by Private John Green on verso with his "X' mark. 1pp. quarto, Head Quarters Provost Marshal, Fifth District, Pa., Frankford, Pennsylvania, March 11, 1865, and reads in part: "…John Green was mustered into the service of the United States, as a Volunteer Private Soldier, on the Eleventh day of March 1865 at Frankford, Pa. by Capt M. Yardley Provost Marshal …Under the Call of the President for Volunteers, dated the Nineteenth day of December 1864. The said John Green was enlisted into Company B of the 24th Regiment of U.S.C.I. Volunteers, by Capt M. Yardley…" and verso stating that John Green had received $500 from Henry Weise "in full of the Local Bounty" with nice orange revenue stamp. Fine.
