c. 1690 Late Colonial Pilgrim Era, Decorative Cast Pewter Porringer Bowl, Very Fine. This late 17th century Pewter Porringer Bowl with its center bowl measuring about 6” in diameter and 1.5” deep, with a 2” flat ornate design side handle on opposite sides. There is a small ding chip on one top rim edge and the handles each have some light scratches and one chip from use. Overall it has a great even natural deep gray patina and shows wear as a practical item. Quite rare and the first of this design we have offered.
