Two Newspapers, Frank Leslie's Illustrated, December 27, 1862 and January 3, 1863, complete and authentic issues, 16pp., disbound, else VG. War date issues with reports and engravings of the War specifically Fredericksburg. From the 27th issue, a centerspread, "Bombardment of Fredericksburg ..." shows the town in background and the Union cannonading from a ridge; and a second centerspread, "The Forlorn Hope - Volunteer Storming Party ... To Drive Off the Rebel Riflemen Who Were Firing Upon the Union Prisoners ... ;" then from the January 3rd issue, centerspread "Terrific Charge ... Upon the Rebel Fortifications, on the Terrace Behind Fredericksburg ... Of course there many other war reports and engravings.
