Soft bound book, "Life, Campaigns, and Public Services of General McClellan. The Hero of Western Virginia! South Mountain! and Antietam!", published by T.B. Peterson & Brothers, Philadelphia, PA, 1864, 194pp., plus 10pp of advertising. With a full history of all his Campaigns and Battles; as well as his Reports and Correspondences with the War Department and the President in relation to them, from the time he first took the field in this war, until he was finally relieved from command after the Battle of Antietam, with his various Speeches to Soldiers, etc., made by him at the present time. The lower cover has some roll-over, else VG.
