1865-Dated Civil War Period, Military Book titled, "Infantry Tactics, for the Instruction, Exercise, and Maneuvers of the Soldier, a Company, Line of Skirmishers, Battalion, Brigade, or Corps d'Armee", by D. Van Nostrand, New York, Fine. By author Silas Casey, "Infantry Tactics, for the Instruction, Exercise, and Maneuvers of the Soldier, a Company, Line of Skirmishers, Battalion, Brigade, or Corps d'Armee", Volume III "Evolutions of a Brigade, or Corps d'Armee," dated 1865, printed by D. Van Nostrand, Broadway, New York, with 27 various fold-outs, plates and diagrams, with Heraldic American Eagle impressed cloth boards. Wear to its boards, some losses and separation to spine, interior is very legible and mostly nice and clean with some expected tone, and complete! A prior owners name written in period ink on the blank first sheet. Scarce.
