To an unnamed recipient; “Excuse my not seeing you when you were kind enough to call & bring me Woolett’s address. A lady from the west occupied my time but had I known who my caller was I should seen you & let her wait. Mr. Woolett’s precise address I have received since you called….I trust his visit to Phila. May do much to ensure him the results he so richly deserves. Yours respy., Wendell Phillips”. Fine.
