Uncolored poster, 17-1/2" x 22-1/2", with bold 6" title "NEEDED". The poster is set up like a "Wanted" poster showing mugshots of Gregory head-on and left profile. The caption prints, "Public Citizen #1 - President of the United States in Exile - Inaugurated 3-4-69." This poster was printed to commemorate the failed presidential run of comedian and activist Gregory for the 1968 presidential election. He ran as a candidate for the Freedom and Peace Party. Gregory won nearly 45,000 votes. Interesting to note that the poster uses the March 4th inauguration date which was replaced to January 20th in 1932. Minor 2" repaired tear lower right.
