Booklet, 1917 A historic General Beauregard monument dedication booklet, privately printed, in paper wraps, 14pp. 4to., New Orleans, 1917, entitled: "Beauregard Monument Association…organized in New Orleans, La., February 21st, 1893…to raise funds for the erection of a monument commemorative of General G. T. Beauregard, C. S. A." Contents include the, "Address of President Alden McLellan at the unveiling of [the] statue of Gen'l. G. T. Beauregard" along with photos of General Beauregard as a Confederate general and a group pose of the committee members holding the Third National Banner at the dedication ceremony. Other contents include rosters of the committee members, subscribers and a detailed history of their efforts in raising the monument. Overall near fine.
