Robert Huston Milroy (1816-1890) was a lawyer, judge, and a Union Army general in the American Civil War, most noted for his defeat at the Second Battle of Winchester in 1863. War date clipped signature, "R.H. Milroy" as Maj. Genl Commd, from the bottom of a May 5, 1863 document.
