Quick letter, 1/2 page, March 22, 1857. The writer explains his father is bed ridden by Pneumonia and he is leaving on the first boat to red Fork to attend to his business. He advises "I made my meat, cane and Seventy Three 400lb Bales with eight Negroes and only two grown, two or three are quite small.."
