Wyman, the Officers & Members of the Chicago Light Guard", 10 x 13 ¼-inches, composed by Franz Staab, published by Russell & Richardson, Boston, c1861. The brilliant color cover illustration is of three soldiers in regimental uniform, ornamental border of scrolls, patriotic symbols. THE CHICAGO LIGHT GUARD, organized by Captain J. B. Wyman, in February, 1854, was par excellence. On 5/24/1861 Wyman was commissioned into Field & Staff IL 13th Infantry. He was Killed on 12/28/1862 at Chickasaw Bayou, MS
