Mid-war bond, printed on white paper, issued from the Confederate Capital at Richmond, Virginia. The bond is dated February 20, 1863 and is not serial numbered. The center design is an image of Alexander H. Stephens. The printer of this bond is Evans & Cogswell of Columbia, South Carolina. At the bottom are 7 coupons. It is hand signed by the Registry of the Treasury, Robert Tyler.
