Framed, 18" x 22", "Volunteers Memorial, Company E. 139th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers", printed by Sarony, 1863, uncolored. The memorial is attractively presented with seven intricate engraved images surrounding the rooster which separates Regimental Field and Staff Officers, Company Officers, Original Officers and Privates. Under remarks there are several details such as "Alberson James G. "discharged for insanity", Jan. 1, 1863; Wm Craig, John Kavanaugh, Alfred Lopish,Daniel Torrence ..all "Deserted on March to Gettysburg fight".
