Pair of 1/9th plate ambrotypes by William Evans James who was a photographer in Massachusetts and New York. One is a nicely and unusual tinted ambrotype housed in a floral/scroll case by W.E. Houston. Both stamped James & Co. in lower left of matte. Very good condition.
