The piece measures 10” x 12” overall, with the actual image measuring 6” x 7 7/8”. The image, ca. 1920’s, shows Rockefeller in the center surrounded by his playing partners and caddies. The image has a photographers imprint on the verso of Garvin, Cleveland, Ohio. In pencil it also states the names of the players, including Rockefeller, Dr. Biggar, Rev. Dr. Eaton, and Elias Johnstone. It also states that they were playing golf at Forest Hill. Rockefeller was know to be an avid golfer, and quite a good one at that. The image itself in in excellent condition, the mount has edge wear, and would look great matted and framed.
