Carte de visite of a Confederate naval officer in full uniform with double row of 3 military buttons on coat. Cadet accoutrement belt & M1842 bayonet. The right arm sleeve of his uniform has been ripped and repaired, he holds a cigar in his left hand. Very good condition. This photo was featured in the Confederate Veteran Magazine in an article titled "Confederate Images" by C.E. Avery.
