Silk ribbon, 3" x 7". "N.E. Convention, September 10, 1840" with framed image of Harrison, and text below "W.H. Harrison". Below that is a framed image of John Davis, with very light text "Gov. Davis". Some tattering at top, still scarce. Why Gov. Davis? Davis won election to the governorship in 1833 and reelected to a second term on November 10, 1834. Upon his election to the U.S. Senate, Davis resigned from the governorship on March 1, 1835. He was reelected to a second term in 1841
