Signed Political Cartoon, 11" x 14-1/2" by "Jon Kennedy" shows Sen(ator) Sam (Ervin) carrying a "Watergate Hearings" inter tub with a few patches in one hand and a night candle, burning down, named "Waining Interest". It is titled "Time to Retire". Ervin retire before the end of his term largely as a result of disputes with his party regarding his leadership on the Watergate Committee.
